About Me

Hi, I’m Rachael,

I’m a warm and kind person-centred counsellor, with a down to earth approach and my passion for counselling comes from both my professional training and my own life experiences.

As a wife and mum, I understand the challenges family life can bring. Having supported loved ones through mental health struggles, I’ve seen how deeply these difficulties can affect everyone involved. I’ve also faced physical health challenges myself, which has given me real appreciation of how overwhelming life can feel. These experiences have shaped the way I work and deepened my commitment to help others find hope and strength.

Alongside my private practice, I volunteer as a counsellor at a local college. Supporting young people at such an important stage in their lives is especially meaningful to me.

In my free time I enjoy reading, listening to audiobooks and watching films. I also love walking my dog in the countryside to recharge and relax.

I offer face-to-face counselling in a quiet space in the centre of Kendal, Cumbria and online or telephone sessions across the UK and worldwide.
